Professional Experience 
Chris joined M. D. Hodges in 1999 to head up
construction of the company's office division, and
in 2000 was promoted to oversee all of Hodges'
construction efforts.
Chris remained with the company after the
acquisition by ING Clarion as Senior Vice President
was responsible for the oversight of all operations
relative to land development, infrastructure, new
building development, and tenant fit-up. Chris
played a vital role directing the physical due
diligence of the company's property acquisition
efforts.
In 2009, Chris rejoined Hodges Management and
Leasing Company as a Principal and continuing as a
Senior Vice President of Development Services.
The Avison Young partnership in 2010 has
Chris continuing as a Principal and Director of
Project Management. Chris
continues to utilize his 25 years experience to
oversee development projects.
Prior to working with Hodges, Chris worked as a
project manager and estimator for two top 150
general contractors, Choate Construction Company and
The Stellar Group. He has constructed over 1.4
million square feet of class A office buildings, 2.5
million square feet of warehouse buildings. He
has overseen extensive heavy industrial process
projects for clients such as Anheuser-Busch, Union
Camp, and Tropicana, as well as other commercial
construction projects such as automobile
dealerships, medical office buildings, school
projects, and zoological projects. Chris' role
required him to execute all phases of the
construction process from initial budgeting,
estimating, scheduling, design control, permitting,
procurement, contract management, project
coordination, client relations, cost
control/reporting, safety, and closeout. |
